[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Today, CPS announced that AUSL Network school, The Morton School of Excellence was selected to receive funds for Gifted programming for the 2020–21 school year. Morton is one of 22 CPS schools across the city to receive this academic program investment.

CPS announced the $18 million investment over the next six years to expand academic programming as part of the district’s plan to boost access to high-quality academic programs at 22 schools across the district.

The district invested in Morton because Morton’s educators, Local School Council, and families are strong supporters of this investment and will ensure the gifted program implementation will be a success. Morton’s new gifted program will recognize and nurture your high-performing students and give them the opportunity to learn key academic principles, themes, concepts, and ideas in accelerated and complex ways.
