Never miss a story!

Members from AUSL’s Chicago Teacher Residency program were invited for a fun night out with free tickets to a Chicago Cubs baseball game. The cohort’s Social Committee helped coordinate the event and invitations were extended to the current CTR class, their families, and CTR alumni.

A special thank you to the Cubs Ticket Grant program, which donated tickets to the game. The Cubs Ticket Grant program, part of Major League Baseball’s Commissioner’s Community Initiative, supports youth-related charitable causes and fans who serve others by donating tickets to home games.

“This had been an annual team building and fun activity that we did with the CTR cohort prior to the pandemic,” said Matthew Tapey, Senior Manager – Corporate and Foundation Relations at AUSL. “We are grateful for programs like the Cubs Ticket Grant program and I hope conditions will allow us to continue to offer these team building activities for our Residents once again.”
