Leonard Smith, Jr. was motivated to pursue engineering after taking a calculus class his senior year at Phillips Academy High School. He will be pursuing his computer engineering degree at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Leonard commends his favorite teacher, Mr. Jackson, for his will to understand all of his students. “He had a drive to better each one of us.”  Leonard’s favorite high school memory is his senior prom.

Apply to your dream colleges if you have them but also apply to schools that are affordable and have your intended major.
